former Ryan Twp 1971 Jeep sold to Gilberton Continental, then sold to private owner in Ashland 1960 Ford C 2500gwt 500gpm pto sold in 1975 to Penn Forest Fire whereabouts today unknown 1965 FWD 750gpm 1000gwt sold in 1990 to Meridian Missisippi where it still remains in reserve status thanks to Ryan Twp Fire Cheif 26 for photo contribution

I do wish we still had this. It had been up on Pennsylvania Avenue in the Heights years ago, but it's long gone. Not sure where it went.

i found these pics on firepics.net, can anyone tell me if this is from mahanoy city,i noticed the mis spelling as mahoney not mahanoy but its a 1926 larrabie buffalo still alive in virginia

The Buffalo had been re-lettered to the correct spelling of Mahanoy City when I examined it at the Syracuse muster. If you have seen it before in person, the only clue that something was changed was the slight difference in paint color where a few letters where changed. The owner did this sometime between this year's Winchester,VA parade and the Syracuse muster. Unfortunately, every time I see the truck, I cannot find the owner/operator to talk to him/her about it.
