mount carbon ran this mack b model  This is a really nice looking rig. I was told that the rescue body was built by Bruco. I would be interested in seeing any additional photos of apparatus built by United (I stopped at Reinerton about 10 years ago and photographed the tanker shown on Page 3 of this thread). Steve |

This is a 1948 K-B 6 International with a Darley fire body, 500 gpm pump, semi open cab, with most of the original equipment. This truck now carries 1100 feet of 2.5 inch and 400 feet of 1.5 hose. This truck served Locust Dale until the early 90's. I've owned it since 1995. The truck is in original condition and at last check everything worked fine.
