Lansford's, now Mickles' 1951 Rescue. This picture is from the 4 county convention program in Lansford from the early 50's when it was brand new. If you see what Mickles has done to the truck, it looks today almost like it did in 51. Except the fire company added rotators on the truck in the 60's or 70's. The gas engine was replaced with a diesel at Hometown Mack. and the like tower was upgraded to Quartz lights in the mid 80's. Mickles replaced the quartz lights with the type that was originally on the light tower.

This interesting chemical and hose combination was built on a passenger car chassis for the Emerald Fire Company of Renovo. The builders of the apparatus body and the automobile aren't known on this early (1915 or earlier) delivery. I wonder what color this rig was?

Chicago, Illinois Truck 13 1918 White/CFD Apparatus City Service Ladder CAPCO photo. Notice the store owner checking out what is going on! By the way, the Lansford rescue is spectacular! Approved built some really sharp looking rigs.

Wasn't sure where to put this, if you want to move it that's fine. Baltimore City Then and Now I took this photo at the Maryland Fire Museum. The Schuylkill Historical Fire Society attended a muster there in 2004. It was the centennial of the Great Baltimore Fire of 1904. I have a few more pics I'll put up at a later time.

Firefighters at Moscow, Idaho gather around their chemical and hose truck. I believe the chassis to be a Federal. Does anyone have additional information about this apparatus? The year built or the company that constructed the apparatus body?
