With deep sorrow the Schuylkill County Fire Chiefs Association and Volunteer Firefighters Association note the passing of State Senator James J Rhoades. Senator Rhoades was transported by air medical to Lehigh Valley Medical Center in Allentown following a severe accident in Monroe County on Friday evening. Senator Rhoades, a leader in the senate, has always been a true friend and supporter of Schuylkill County’s Emergency Services. Please keep the Senator and his family in your prayers during this tragic time.
Frank Zangari President – SCFCA
it is also sad news for our fire society as Senator Rhoades was instrumental in achieving our grant for the society rehab for the museum, he was a true friend of the fire service. Let us all remember his wife in our prayers for her recovery from this motor vehicle accident
