The Good Will Fire Company # 4 of Pottsville was organized on May 1, 1882. Its first firehouse was located in the 300 block of Prospect St. in Pottsville. The Good Will occupied this firehouse in 1884. The building still stands today.
The cornerstone of the Good Will's current building at Coal and Nichols St. was laid on May 1, 1898.
