The Catskill Fire Cats (Catskill Chapter, SPAAMFAA) will present their 33rd Annual Muster on Saturday June 6, 2009, with a rain date of Sunday June 7.
More info will follow earlier next year, as far as location, time, etc. We just wanted to get the word of the date out as early as possible so as to hopefully avoid conflicts with other events (locally, at least) and give the out-of-towners ample time to plan for it.
Hope to see a big crowd there!

Andy Leider went before the Town Planning Board this past week, seeking approval for his site plans as it pertains to the future museum. The board voted unanimously in favor of his plans, however this was merely a preliminary hearing/vote. Hopefully, as the weather improves and some serious work can be done on both the site and the building, future votes will be equally as successful, and he will be issued the long awaited C.O. so we can have the place open for the muster.
Speaking of which, the rain date has been dropped, due to concerns over complications trying to notify everyone (especially those travelling) of the status of the event, should the weather be "questionable". The date remains June 6, rain or shine. More details to come as they become available.
