The society's banquet was held this evening at A & C Catering Hall (formerly Gils' Catering) in Mahanoy City. Almost 60 members and guests enjoyed an evening of fine food and fellowship. An informative presentation regarding the history of SPAAMFAA was delivered by noted fire apparatus authority Harvey Eckhart.
This year's honoree as the Society Member of the Year was Judy Blew. Judy not only serves as the association's recording secretary, but also plays a vital role in many society events.
