its coming back!!!!!!!!!!!
KEYSTONE STATE
Fire Apparatus News
The KEY to Fire Apparatus News in Pennsylvania !
We are back after a short hiatus. Nothing is changing with the magazine except that we are going to have to rely heavily on our subscribers, with only a few generous advertisers. We will still feature new deliveries, lost and found, fire company profiles and updates. Since this is a quarterly publication, we will no longer carry a calendar of events. We are always looking for photos and information pertaining to new deliveries of both pre-owned and new apparatus. Since the last few issues we were almost all digital, and that is the way we are going to proceed. For those photographers that don’t have a digital camera and want to submit photos, we will still be able to accommodate those photos for now, but the quality won’t be as good since they have to be scanned into the computer before processing. All photos will still be black and white, primarily because this is an information publication.
Also starting with the first issue in January, we will be keeping a stricter record of renewals. Once your subscription has expired, it is expired. Then if you would want a back issue you must order it like a back issue plus pay the extra postage. We had to implement this policy because too many people were forgetting to renew. But with less income and higher costs each issue, you saw what happened. We truly hope that this magazine can be a success and look forward to anyone wishing to submit stories on apparatus or apparatus related history. Broadening our exposure across the state will help this magazine grow. Now that my son is attending college in the western part of the state, I will be making numerous trips to the western counties and hopefully profiling many of the smaller departments in that area. Also everything will be sent through the mail at the bulk rates, as long as we have at least 200 issues being sent. Otherwise, we will have to reevaluate our postage costs.
ONE YEAR SUBSCRIPTION (4 ISSUES) - $ 16.00
Payable By Check or Money Order – Make Check Payable to : Todd Lincoln
