on a side note i'd like to really show & tell how our chapter is TOPS.this incident occurred approx 10pm on a saturday nite, a friend of mine contacted a tire service through his business to come get us off the road & back home, when the tire co got there approx 1115pm,took off the wheel & foud the failure of rim, then told me i'm screwed as he has no rim to replace tire with, so i called blackie( our apparatus fleet chairman) to see if at any possibility if we mite have a spare rim in our wharehouse, blackie then called lou & his son to come help him load it into his truck & came rite up to my location approx 40miles away NO QUESTIONS asked. they then assisted tire service remove the tire on his rim & assist installing the nerw tire, all the while in traffic & city sites, but thats another story. The guys from the society never once himmed or hawed about being there or money for the trip or the storm we ended up being in the middle of while making repairs. what a wonderful organization we have & i must say how proud i am to be a member of
