St. Clair Columbia's Mack CF was originally Lansford's Engine 1511 from 1971-1992 when it was sold to Tamaqua South Ward. This piece along with Tamaqua American's Mack CF pictured above it were built at the same time at Mack. It so happens that the KME that replaced American's CF was built at the same time as Lansford's KME. Lansford's KME however replaced the 1980 Mack CF not the 71.

Here is a picture of St. Clair Columbia when it was Lansford's Engine 1511. South Ward did some upgrades on it including replacing the front "Bubble Gum Machine" light with a lightbar. The photo is from my personal collection.  |
