contact member charlie gardecki (alfengine@comcast.net )for more information and contact #   (note grille is not rusted , the sun angle on grille is why gold color) it comes loaded with hose,nozzles & deck gun. last i saw this piece ex -Clarks Green, ex-Peckville Wilson Hose in past summer it was in fantastic shape ran well looks great more info on this, new tires last year, everything on engine goes with it except the chief's helmet. asking 5000.00 |

1955 Ward LaFrance model 85T, equipped with a Waterous 750 GPM Two stage pump, 300 gallon booster tank, Waukesha 145 GKB 6 cylinder rated at 275 HP @ 2800 RPM, Fuller 5 speed manual transmission, Hydrovac brakes. Included are all nozzles, hose, rear step booster line, and the original factory photo from WLF. The truck was delivered in April 1955 to the Wilson Fire Company of Peckville Pa. It was sold to the Clarks Green Volunteer Fire Co. in the summer of 1976. They operated the truck until 1980, when they disbanded and merged with the Chinchilla Hose Co. of South Abington Twp. Chinchilla used the truck as a back up until some time in the early nineties, when they sold it to a member ( Wayne Ayers ). I purchased the truck from Wayne in 1993. Speedometer needs a cable and booster tank has slight leak. 6 new tires last year. Also fuel tank gauge is not very accurate. I changed the sending unit a few years back, but I still don't trust it. new tires last year, everything on engine goes with it except the chief's helmet. asking 5000.00
